So I had a crazy thought. We don't get much time to interact outside of the meetings. So I was thinking what if we had a dotNet Miami night at the ballpark. Pick a game in August and watch the Marlins lose to some mediocre team.

Would anyone be interested in such an event? If so, how much would be too much for tickets?

Ross and I are in.

You could get tickets for like $2 a piece.

Here is the group ticket link..

You can get baseline reserved seats for $12 for a "bronze" game. (Whatever that means.) Not bad.

But I don't want to put the effort into it if the community isn't interested. What would be the point in that?

The deposit would be $200 for 20-49 people. Not bad.

Great idea! I think we can find one.

I’d be interested…but not in August, since I’ll be out of town then. J

haha, considering their record maybe we should set up to hack the score board?  Heck, the Marlins might even pay us... :)

Pretty much. J It’s a working out of town, as needed, type of deal. We’ll have most of the family come up (Virginia Mountains) at some point during the month and I work in the in between times. J  I think this year we leave July 27 or so and return around August 29th. Something like that.
