Yo party people. Our speaker is staying at the Hyatt Regency in Downtown/Brickell. Can anyone give him a ride to the meeting?

Thanks,

Richie

Richie,

If he does not mind part of the trip being metromover/metrorail I could
do it.

Somewhat confused. How would he get back? Would you meet him at the hotel?

I can be his ride. Im at 11900 Biscyane BLVD..>According to Google, it's just straight Biscayne until SE 2nd and hotel will be there...

Driving directions to Hyatt Regency Miami

Miami, FL 33181

1. Head south on U.S. 1 S/Biscayne Blvd toward Sans Souci Blvd

8.3 mi

2. Turn right onto SE 2nd St

0.2 mi

3. Take the 2nd left onto SE 2nd Ave
Destination will be on the right

0.1 mi

Hyatt Regency Miami
400 Southeast 2nd Avenue
Miami, FL 33131

Unless there anyone closer, I can take him. Need further instruction though. How am I going to contact him, etc.

I'm downtown now, but I take the train in. So my car is at the University Metro station. I'm planning to ride the train from downtown to the University station, then drive to Planet Linux.

If he's OK with part of the ride being train, I could meet him at the Hyatt, we head to the the Metro, get in my car and I take him to Planet Linux.

Going back is not problem since I have the car. I can just drive him all the way back to the hotel after the meeting.

So probably preferable if someone can pick him up at hotel and drive him there directly, but my option is open if not.

PS. If by chance someone is available to tak him but not drive him back I could also offer just the ride back.

I'm open to either.

Al, you're probably right about it be preferable if someone picks him up in a car.

What are your thought Janier?

I will pick him up.

Just set up who we are going to meet, time, details, etc, and let me know.

Then, since I live in Doral, maybe Al can take him back.

Thanks for doing this Janier! I'll send you the info.

Anybody volunteer for bringing him back downtown? You'll have a great opportunity to get some one-on-one time with one of the best minds in the .Net Community.
