Location/Date for March Pub Metup

There was some talk of meeting up in Dorchester next month (March)?

Because of the leap-year, the 3rd Wednesday is the 15th again (spooky!)

I'm guessing Tom Browns is probably best? Unless you now live closer to another pub Stephen? :p

Any thoughts/suggestions?

The leap-year means February isn't exactly 4 weeks as it normally is, so it should be 14th, not 15th, right? This means the 3rd Wednesday would actually be the 21st...

A moot point for me though as I couldn't make it to Dorchester anyway.

Yup. Third Wednesday is the 21st. I know nothing about Dorchester pubs so you're on your own there :-)

updated? I'm a probable no show for this one, too much on, but was
wondering about picking a person at Squire Technologies in Dorchester to
"cold email", asking them to circulate in the office. They do VoIP
stuff on Linux and are just up the road from Tom Brown's.

interested? Probably too late for this time around but perhaps collect

their small site but I can't recall the name of someone I know I've met

Yes the 15th is a Thursday.

We had originally agreed to try and meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, but MeetDraw are meeting on the 21st this month, so it was decided we meet the week before — I had originally said the 15th in error, not realising it was Thursday and not Wednesday!!!

Nobody objected to the 15th when I asked, so I tweeted that date — it has now been retweeted several times, so I'd suggest we stick with that date.

Silly me. I won't be able to make it on Thursday as I'm going up to Leeds that day. Good thing you clarified it or I'd be sat in Tom Brown's by myself on Wednesday night.

 

Have a good time and I'll see you on the next one which I'll definitely be attending as I've missed three in a row now.
