Custom Content Fields documentation

Hi there,

I'm working my way through the documentation, and am stuck on Step One of the Custom Content Fields documentation, http://dotcms.com/docs/latest/CustomContentFields, in particular, the following line:

"For the State field create a select box using the following select list code to show all states"

Where do I enter the code?  If I put it in the Value field it doesn't get parsed properly.

That documentation is really hard to follow. Yes in the value field. The whole key to this is that you have to set the value of a hidden field
