Occasionally I get requests for consulting service, usually from people
who've purchased a Teensy board. Usually I just don't have time to take
on another commitment. Often the projects are fairly simple, sometimes
just packaging a Teensy and some stuff in a nice enclosure (eg,
Polycase) and making 50+ units. Some involve more firmware or design work.

I'm looking for a few good local people who might be interested in
occasionally taking on some of these projects. PJRC does not collect
any referral fee or royalty or even impose any conditions. You set your
own pricing and terms and work directly with the client.

If you're interested, please talk with me in person at the meeting
tonight, or any other meeting. The one requirement I do have is I only
want to work with people I see in person on a semi-regular basis.

Just out of curiosity, how occasionally do you get this type of request? I ask because at some point in the future I might be interested in something like this. I have no idea of the demand out there and would like a data point to get a feel for it. I am an engineer, but might want to get out on my own with lots of random ideas bouncing around my mind. This wouldn't be for a year or two, most likely. Even then, I might need to spend most of my time being a dad, but I would like to know a bit more about it.

I also wouldn't meet your requirement, although if you're who I think you are then I have met you the only time I showed up. It's a good requirement, though.

Good luck!
Erik
