I'm printing up some big DorkBot logos for our MakerFaire booths.
Before I run off to Kinkos, does anybody have any better/cheaper recommendations for large format printing?

Thanks,

Monty

Finding someone friendly that works at an architecture firm has worked for us in the past.

I have a color laser that can do up to A3 wide.

Thanks for the offer Jerry. I'm looking for something closer to D or E size though.

Any architects on the list?

I used NoLimitsPDX (http://nolimitspdx.com/stickers.html) for the Church of Robotron stickers.  They also print on other things, they did a flag on hefty vinyl.  I'd give them a call and see if it's a good fit.

Monty,

UO Portland's output room is open to the public, good quality, and about 1/3rd the price of Kinkos (last I checked).

The only trick is they can't take cash/traditional payment. Instead you have to buy a Generic Campus Cash card at the duck store on the first floor of the building.

They're located on the 5th floor of the white stag block, NW Naito and NW Couch St.

Thanks for the tip Andrew.  I'll remember that for next time.
Another Dorkbotter volunteered to print them at their work, so we're good for this weekend.

Andrew,

Thanks for that resource! Good to know!

Of course, the lowest of low budget:
http://www.blockposters.com/

(love this, especially when work has color printers available)

:)
