Robot design meetup on Friday at Artisan's Asylum!

Hi folks!

Just wanted to send out a reminder that the monthly Robot Design meetup is this Friday, starting at 7:30PM, at Artisan's Asylum. We've confirmed the following presentations:

• A demonstration of the first month's work of the Public Robotics Lab
• A showing (no movement yet - give us another month) of the full-size, assembled hydraulic leg from Project Hexapod, which stands 7 feet tall and weighs more than 350 pounds
• A presentation on the design and fabrication of the Mondospider by Leigh Christie, as well as an introduction to the eatART foundation and makerspace
• A presentation and update by Leif Jentoft on Harvard's recent robot hand designs, including an unveiling of Harvard's new, inexpensive, open-source rubberized robot skin
