On my iphone when I access the webpage after some delay, I have to re-
login to be able to access the light control. I have selected the
keep logged in option but it doesn't seem to work for me. Is there a
way to remove the password requirement?

There is a known bug with the remember password function. The latest development version has this fixed. Currently there is no way to remove the password function, but there is an enhancement that was requested to have a setting to disable the security feature.
We will be releasing the fixes version soon. If you want to get the dev version, it is checked into the google code tree.
