I was asked to post a link to the following website. The website
appears to be a non-profit pet based website where different breeds
are rated. They have a section for chicken breeds. If anybody is

You have to register to post anything. I did not do that. If someone
does, please post your experiences here.

Hi - sorry for bothering you, but I’ve just added a Chicken section to
my website and was wondering if any Dom-Bird members might want to
share their insights on the breeds they’ve raised? We’re looking to
gather thoughts on breed strengths and challenges, what kinds of
owners/purposes they are appropriate for etc..

RightPet is an educational site which allows individuals to rate the
breeds/species of animals they've owned, and recommend services/
businesses they like. For each chicken breed, users can rate
attributes like appearance, temperament, growth rate, meat quality,
egg production, efficiency under minimal/intensive management,
tolerance to heat/cold etc.. They also give an “overall” rating. The
idea is that potential owners can read these ratings to help educate
themselves and see if a specific breed is appropriate for them and
what they want to use the bird for. Breed-specific rescues, clubs and
suppliers are also listed.

If you think it’s appropriate, maybe you could let the group members
know about this page so that some might want to share their
assessments? Or perhaps I could join and post a brief message? Here’s
