Problem reinstalling dokan

I get this message when attempting to reinstall Dokan "Please
uninstall the previous version and restart your computer before
running this installer."
I previously uninstalled or removed all the files (I think) and now
I'm attempting to reinstall and it won't work.
Used search and came up with nothing and of course I've had my
computer on and off many times.
What should I do?
