to Django FileBrowser

Hope I'm not being very thick or asking something that's been answered
elsewhere, but i've looked at every last piece of information on the
internet about this and my head is like a balloon full of nasty
smelling gases now and i can't even think anymore
installed grappelli 2.2 on django 1.2.5, then the latest filebrowser.
But it doesn't show in the admin.
I figure it has to do with this part of the instructions that i can't
make sense of

Add the FileBrowser to your Admin Navigation
With using Grappelli, you can add the FileBrowser to your Admin Index
Page by changing the Sidebar-Navigation (the FileBrowser is already
part of the Grappelli fixtures).

I tried looking at how it worked in the mezzanine cms (which works
fine) but i couldn't make any sense of anything. Now i'm just really
confused.

Please, help!

to do this you need grappelli 2.3. and you need to create a custom
dashboard with grappelli 2.3. then the link to the filebrowser is on
your admin's dashboard.

or you use grappelli 2.2 with django-admin-tools. and add filebrowser
to some admin-tools module (but i think it works there out of the box
like with grappelli 2.3 as soon as you create a custom dashboard too).

but to prevent your head from finally exploding ;) i would suggest to
just add a link to /admin/filebrowser/browse/ in the template of your
choice by overwriting it in your project template directory (just be
aware of that when you make an update of django or grappelli).
