Addition to Sitemap docs?

I just started using the Django Sitemaps yesterday. I made it so every
time I save a new blog entry, django pings Google to let them know
about my updated sitemap.xml file. My site just went live a few weeks
ago. I did not submit it to google or anything like that. I was
waiting to see how long it took to automatically pick it up. So far it
hasn't crawled it. I was starting to wonder if my sitemap was getting
pinged to Google. I went through some Google docs and came across this
page. Resubmitting your sitemap to Google.

"You must initially add your Sitemap to Google Webmaster Tools using
your Google Account. When your Sitemap changes, you can resubmit it to
Google to let us know. You can resubmit your Sitemap in one of two
ways:
* Using Webmaster Tools
* Sending a HTTP request to Google"
Maybe this should be added in the Django sitemaps docs somewhere. You
need to submit your sitemap through webmaster tools first, then you
can resubmit it using Django as needed.

Ahh nevermind. I should not have posted this here. I will just submit
a ticket on it.
