Tastypie doesn't implement HEAD http verb?

Hi all,
To the best of my ability to tell, Tastypie does not respond to a HEAD
request other than with a 501 NOT IMPLEMENTED. Can anyone confirm or
deny this before I submit a feature request/bug report (depending on
your point of view)?
