It appears django-selectable is not compatible with jquery-1.9.0.js does anyone know the issue and how to resolve? Thanks

I haven't look into it but jQuery migrate would probably be a start: https://github.com/jquery/jquery-migrate/

I don't see any errors in the example project on the stable branch (0.6.2) or default (0.7dev) nor do I see any QUnit failures when using jQuery 1.9.0.

Maybe something else is going on then, I tested with below...

<script src="//ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.9.0/jquery.min.js"></script>

the call seems to fire ok however, no drop down appears on the input, if I replace with the version in the example it works again.

Are there any relevant errors in the browser's JS console?

You know what, I'm stupid, ignore me, so sorry!  I guess if you want 1.9 to work you should also include 1.10 ui! I had an old ui core js file which had compatibility issues with version 1.9 oops!

ps selectable rocks!!!! very simple and easy to use.

:)

No problem! I hadn't really tested on the latest jQuery/jQuery UI so your original email had me a little worried. I added some functionality to the QUnit suite to test on all several versions: https://bitbucket.org/mlavin/django-selectable/commits/dabe2b10cce33766bdd257020338e1d3

nice to know, still new to django, but that was just a school boy error I made! It seems to work fine on version 1.9 and  1.10 of ui for me. I will keep testing tho. :)

again thanks for this package it's saved me a lot of time.
