Welcome to the django-nyc group.

We're always looking for new members, participants, and creative ideas for our meetings. All are welcome. 

The meetings topics are open to discussion - please submit your ideas and join the conversation. We'd like to focus on presentation, tutorials, code review, open forums, and hopefully guest speakers. 

We'd like to enjoy a few pints and/or some good eats after the meetup as well.

The goal for django-nyc is to create a community for those interested in django to meet, share ideas, create, learn, and have a good time. The focus will be django and web application design and development. Python will obviously be an underlining theme, but there are specific python groups focused on python solely and that's not us. We want to give django the attention it deserves.

How to join the group: when filling out the form, please make sure to mention why you're interested in joining a NYC based user group about Django.  It helps us tell humans from spam-bots.
