Hi internationalization folks,
as this is my first post I'll introduce me shortly. I've been translating free software for a long time, mostly to Norwegian, and I joined the Norwegian language teams over at Transifex some time ago. At the moment my main involvement is with the
Waymarked Trails project on Translatwiki.
The Waymarked Trails project has received
many translations for languages that aren't available for Django itself (and many aren't even available for translation at Transifex). Fortunately we don't use much of the django translation itself, so this isn't a big problem. However, we do use DATETIME from formats.py.
I've therefore asked the translators at Translatewiki.net for help patching django so that DATETIME is available in their language. Until now I have two qualified and tested patches that I have submitted as pull requests at github.
I haven't received any feedback on the pull requests (the first was submitted 16 days ago) so I would really appreciate some feedback either here or on github. I specifically wonder if pull requests on github is the way to do this, and when/if the patches will be pulled, or if there is any problem with them.
Best regards,
