Hi. I'm Vasil Vangelovski. I've submitted a patch for the Macedonian
translation of Django. This is a translation of the messages generated
for the latest svn release. See Ticket #9728

Thanks for that. I'll let it sit for a few days and see if George
Stanojevski has any comments, since he's been doing fairly regular
updates of Macdeonian leading up to 1.0.

I notice you've left a bunch of strings in there marked as "fuzzy". Not
sure if that was intentional or not. Realise that fuzzy strings are not
included in the translation. You need to check that they are correct and
remove the "#,fuzzy" comment if you want them to be part of the
translated string set.

Regards,
Malcolm

Thanks for pointing out that some strings were marked fuzzy. As those
were the ones I translated. So I replaced my original patch with a new
one (in the same ticket). I think it's fair you let Georgi review this
patch since he's done good work so far, and has been brave enough to
translate the whole thing. I mostly cared about the names of the
months and days not being capitalized correctly. Previously I just
used my own version of the translation file. But now another developer
is working with me and it's easier for us if the Django repository has
this.

I added another patch to #9728 with Vasil's translations and fixes. I
left out couple of things which I think should be debated a bit more:

1. According to the Macedonian ortography (македонски правопис(*1))
names of days and months should be lower case. You could try it in
Linux
env LANG=mk_MK.utf-8 date or env LANG=mk_MK.utf-8 cal

I see that there are both lower case and capitalized days in
util/dates.py but the months are all capitalized and I think it's
better to leave our translation as is because I can't see where are
the lower case and where are the capitalized structures from
util/dates.py used.

2. Hindu is not Индиски (Indian) but Хинду. (*2)
3. I changed /about/contact (/за сајтот/контакт) to /за_сајтот/контакт

p.s. Vasil it's great to see someone else using django for their
projects here in .mk. You could stop by #lugola on irc.freenode.org or
http://hedona.on.net.mk/pipermail/ossm-members/ it would be really,
really nice to speak to someone in macedonian about django. :-)

I agree with Georgi's remarks. As far as the localization of dates
goes I'm not very sure about this, so leave those as they are for
now. So please apply the patch with Georgi's corrections.
