Complex datatypes

Hi,

I have a question regarding using db-column fields as a project idea.
This will mostly be involved with django.db.models, which is obviously
going to change when qs-rf is moved to the trunk. Will the timeline
be such that qs-rf will have likely merged come summer so that we can
work on this, or would it just be a temporary solution until qs-rf
merges?
