There are plenty of people, myself included, who are very happy with Django and the current development process. It will never be a perfect fit for everyone and some will always complain. We've been using Django professionally for a few years now and it has grown by leaps and bounds in that time. I'm glad to see that Django is picky about what is included. Stable growth trumps a kitchen sink worth of half-baked features any day. Keep up the amazing work and don't let the naysayers get you down.
