Hi,

I've now got a Solaris 10 sparc buildbot slave up and running at:

http://www.python.org/dev/buildbot/community/all/

It is running the django trunk tests against both python 2.5 and
python trunk using a sqlite3 memory database.

Are any of the core developers interested in receiving test failure emails?

regards

matthew

It only took me two and a half months to respond to this message, but
I would definitely be interested in receiving test-failure e-mails.
This looks like a very cool system.

Adrian

Hi Adrian,

They aren't sending out failure emails at the moment. You can check
both the trunk and 2.5 maintenance branch build statuses at:

http://www.python.org/dev/buildbot/community/all/?show=sparc%20Solaris%2010%20trunk&show=sparc%20Solaris%2010%202.5

and there is an rss feed of _all_ failed builds at:

http://www.python.org/dev/buildbot/community/all/rss

I keep an eye on the RSS feed and can say there haven't been any
django checkins that have broken anything and not many python ones
either.

Buildbot is extremely cool and very flexible. My test environment uses
django and buildbot to test config changes, vendor patches etc to our
solaris server bare metal installations. All handsfree except for
adding the test host(s) into my django app initially.

matthew
