Hi All.
I've posted my experience to date in learning to play a jammer. You
may find it interesting for when you finish your keyboards and start
to learn to play them. The initial slog is steep, then .... ?

As always, please give me feed back, especially when I have
extrapolated too much.

Hello Ken!

Glad to hear you're having fun and making lots of practice learning
your instrument! You can also pat yourself on the back for figuring
it out on your own; at least initially on most instruments it is a lot
easier to learn from a teacher. Most instruments have well known and
easy to learn, but non-obvious quirks, i.e. how to hold the
instrument, how to finger basic patterns (and on wind instruments, how
to generate a tone).

Cheers,
Drew

Ken,

This is awesome and particularly well timed for me :-) I've been
cycling the code for my keyboard and just landed on the wicki-hayden
layout. I'd been fingering instinctively with root on the index
finger. Your fingering makes more sense.

Post more!

Ok, I'm writing up what I found works - and just as important, the
(small) things that don't work.
