Looks really good. He's doing Yadis and OAuth himself, so it might be worth
at least making his plugin detect ours and play nice.

Also, it would be nice if the extra notices you send out through the plugin
(over and above blog posts, which is also sends) were stored in the posts
table under a different post_type instead of in their own table. Maybe for
incoming notices too that could work (not sure).

Also would be cool to sync our extra profile fields (especially avatar) with
his, so the data doesn't get all duplicated.

Just initial thoughts on my part :) I've cc'd the dev on this, so please
use "reply-all" on this thread.

when i google: wordpress oauth atompub ...to find your prev work, i get:

Singpolyma - Technical Blog » AtomPub + OAuth for Wordpress!
In this test, wp_app.php was in the oauth plugin folder. If there is
nothing apparently wrong, maybe I should test the Wordpress Atompub
separately. ...
singpolyma.net/2008/05/atompub-oauth-for-wordpress/ - Cached - Similar

but when I follow that link in Firefox, I get redirected to a feed

Ah, sorry all ... that wasn't meant for the list! But hey, while I'm here:

... is anyone aware of much happening around OAuth for AtomPub? Or in
general, for sites having an OAuth-mediated publication mechanism?
(WebDAV, whatever).

Some more notes / use cases on that here:
http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/semantic-web/2009Jun/0256.html

cheers,

Dan
