Subject: Dish Network relief to those affected by the Hurricane Katrina.
DISH Network is continually focused on providing aid and support to our
customers and the communities affected by tropical storms and
hurricanes. We have technicians standing by and are working with local
authorities to gain access to your area to ensure that your services
are restored as soon as possible. DISH Network is committed to
supporting the relief efforts underway in the areas devastated by
Hurricane Katrina. For instance: We have worked with broadcasters to
import local channels into affected areas, allowing hurricane victims
to continue receiving news about the storm and other urgent matters. We
have installed DISH Network TV service in several shelters, and we are
discussing plans with the Federal Emergency Management Agency and
National Guard to provide service in all their relief stations. Plus,
we have mobilized hundreds of technicians and vans for additional help
in the affected areas. For information on how you can help, contact
your local American Red Cross. Interested in getting more info? Please
