I haven’t got a camera at the ready..........so let me describe to you as best I can what is happening from outside of my bedroom window.

During this morning’s Seniors Morning Tea.........the builders have removed the top 1/3 of the east wall to expose the roof space........what a remarkable sight...............and it rained briefly!!..... Just god sprinkling a blessing on what we are doing...........it is a truly moving experience............and it makes real years of planning and preparation..........

And the builders are enjoying the process too........it must make a change from erecting average homes...........

WE are doing this together and that makes me feel very proud...........

Our Seniors enjoyed having the 47 children from Beaconsfield Primary who came to sind Christmas Carols...........

This was followed by a presentation on Afghanistan from Dennis (which the kids stayed to enjoy too)...........lovely combination of energies.........young people witnessing sacrifice being made in a war zone......seniors remembering how it had affected their lives...........and the young ones helping to serve and clear the table for the oldies.......(we were very short of helpers today)............Peter’s Mum and friend arrived early so they were busily setting tables and getting the hall ready when I arrived with the food.....it always works out in the end.
