Hi,

I am trying to play with a video capture card (PixelView 8000GT2) and the peerconnection_client  and I am facing some troubles.

Apparently, the video card is not been detected, or if detected is not accepted by the application. The same video card is working correctly with other applications in the same system.

The peerconnection_client is working fine between two computers equiped with tipical webcams. But, when I try to run peerconnection_client in a system without a video capture device it crashes.

Actually, I have two problems:

* The PixelView 8000GT2 is not detect or accepted by the peerconection_client application.
* The peerconnection_client crash in a system without video capture device.

Has someone faced such problems?
Is the peerconnection_client expected to crash if a video device capture is not detected?
How to deal with a video capture card and the WebRTC?

Any help is wellcome!

Thank You.

Hi Leo,

I tested the PixelView 8000GT2 with chrome canary and WebRTC but it doesn't work.

I could see it works well against a typical webcam USB.

Suggestions?

Thanks.

The crash problem was overcome just executing the release version of the peerconnection_client. It was not really a crash, the application was stopping for debug purposes, my fault. But, it still fails with the PixelView playtv card.

The log messages shows:

peerconnection_client was the only application trying to use the capture card.

I still need some help.

Thank you.
