Before you start, look at the most important XEPs: XEP-0166, XEP-0167, and XEP-0176.
Then look at lower-level libjingle itself. You might not need to deal with WebRTC itself.
Note that this group _primarily_ deals with HTML5 WebRTC APis -- not so much with the lower-level stuff, although there are constantly questions and discussions about lower-level APIs as well.
Hello everyone. I want to create an application for android that connects to my school's XMPP server (openfire) and supports audio calls. I've been wandering with smack API to implement my audio call but still can't get it. I bumped at Google's libjingle and webrtc, and hope to solve my problem. Did I come to the right place? I have knowledge regarding XMPP but never on its XEPs that deals with audio calls and other multimedia stuffs. Hope you guys can give me a little hint on how to begin my little project. Thanks a lot.
