Hi all,

With a lot of activity on this list and WebRTC being only an interest of mine I can work with every few months, I concluded that there is too much noise in my inbox. I'm interested, but there is now a lot of questions about native libraries, there is a lot of interoperability discussions, etc. - and I'm primarily interested in implementing interoperability with web APIs in Chrome talking to XMPP Jingle. I'm interested in various web based clients -- but end up not trying them out for months. (Number of flagged messages in my inbox is growing more and more.)

So, I primarily want to hear about API breakages, API changes etc -- and these kinds of news from WebRTC devs tend to get lost in all the noise.

Is there a useful announcements mailing list where I can get solely this kind of info, instead of all the bug reports, questions and other discussions? Perhaps a blog that I can subscribe to via email?

The WebRTC blog (less frequently) and Google+ page (more frequently) post important announcements/conferences/demo links.
You can subscribe to the blog via RSS/ATOM/Google Reader.

Hi,

Thanks, that's somewhat useful. I'll follow the G+ page, but that's easy to miss in the stream. I've dropped GReader since it's yet another source for information overload, and I can't get myself to erase any comics from it.

Hopefully the core WebRTC team will consider making a separate mailing list solely for the announcements. Perhaps "announce-webrtc" is a good name for that.
