To all you Facebook users on the discuss-sudbury-model list:

Sudbury Valley School has a new Facebook page under the name "Sudbury Valley School."  Unfortunately, there is an old Facebook page with the same name.  The "old" page is NOT actively managed and apparently the means of getting it removed is to get more "likes" on the new page than the old page has.

One obvious difference between the 2 pages is in the photo of the School.  The new page uses a closer photo of the school building with a white sky; the old page uses a long shot of the building with a blue sky.

Please log into Facebook and post a "like" on the new page, and ask you friends to do the same.

Hey everyone,

The url for the official SVS facebook page is http://www.facebook.com/SudburyValleySchool. This link is already on the wikipedia page but perhaps it can also be placed on sudval.org?

I have also made a page to gain support for the establishment of a Sudbury model school in Sydney Australia. If anyone would like to support it, especially if you are located in Sydney, then please go to http://www.facebook.com/SudburySchoolInSydney  - I need 12 more "likes" before I get access to "Insights" (whatever that is!). The important thing though is that if more people like it, even if they aren't local, the more local people will be able to come across it.
