Packaging Engineer
Task(s):
· Coordinate and follow up TotalCostOut related team activities
· Identify, develop and initiate cost reduction projects and cost avoidance opportunities that include packaging redesign initiatives, component consolidation and product line efficiencies
· Prepare reports, benefit calculations
· Work with suppliers of packaging materials/components or contract packaging suppliers to obtain design samples, materials & cost estimates
· Ensure follow up of pack material stocks & values and reports write-offs proactively
· Take ownership in all aspects of packaging design, processes, field issues, supplier communication and testing of new packaging designs
· Prepare and distribute orders/call-offs to suppliers
· Follow up all production schedule packaging changes
· Ensure continuous production with new/modified material supply
· Ensure follow up of pack material stocks & values and reports write-offs proactively
· Handle and follow up SAP and other, system related packaging changes, modifications
Requirement(s):
· University or college degree
· Fluent English and Hungarian
· Intermediate to Advanced MS office skills, particularly Excel
· Capacity to work on short, mid- and long term issues
· Strong analytical skills and structured approach to work
· Strong decision making and prioritization skills
· Prior experience in cost out activities
· Excellent problem solving and written and verbal communication skills in both English and Hungarian

· Ability to work in team or on own initiative
Advantage(s):
· Knowledge of packaging materials, performance levels and application in design
· SAP knowledge
