Guys,
I am quite new to this service/plugin as collaborative commenting system,
and I find digress.it answered my needs in many way.
But, it seems that the site [link] is down for several days
now. Is this permanent? or just temporary?

Good Morning,
I have set up a Digress.it site for the purpose of collaborating on
guidelines for volunteers in our educational nonprofit. We freely
tutor young kids with Autism, ADHD, and Dyslexia during an after-school
program that is expanding in this south Georgia rural area.
The teachers who I've encouraged to comment are all M.Ed and PhD. Ed.

I had the same problem with CommentPress, and in that case it turned out
that the problem was with the https environment, not with the subdirectory.
Christian Wach fixed the AJAX commenting plugin accordingly and
CommentPress now works for me.
Of course the problem with digress.it may be different; I'll leave that to

You're completely right, the current public release version has a bug. This
will be fixed in future versions.

How to hide sidebar?

Using the settings "Yes" and "No" for "Enable Sidebar" both show the
sidebar. Is there a way to hide it?
Has this perhaps to do with using a domain like subdomain.mydomain.cn?

Thanks. Isn't this typical of a WordPress mu installation, though? And is

If the site was hosted on a URL like this:
http://<[link]>
bakovic <[link]>.ucsd.edu/<[link]>you'll
have less problems, but because the URL has an extra directory, like
this: [link] it causes problems.

I've seen this issue before. It could be that the site is both in a
subdomain and has a subdirectory site. Can you try it in a domain with just
subdomains?

Hello,
I've installed digress.it with a WordPress mu installation, but I'm unable
to post a comment -- the animation on the "submit comment" button keeps
moving along, but nothing happens. I have all other plugins deactivated.
Any ideas, please? I'm testing here, in case you'd like to take a look:

I can't find setting control to create a FOLLOW button or allow my
readers to automatically be notified when new posts and/or comments

Panic over. Recovered it by reactivating original theme. That was

A colleague has just enthusiastically installed the digressit plugin
on their site [link] and it's now completely
blank. She can get to the dashboard and everything is there but the
public site is down. This is the case even though she has first
deactivated and then deleted the plugin. Please can you help.
