Export from revit as an autocad 2000 *.dwg (File - Export - CAD
Formats)
Open "Deep Exploration." (It is under Right Hemisphere in the start
menu)
File - Open the *.dwg file
File - Save As - *.3ds
Now import the *.3ds file into Viz with File - Import then apply
lightstudio materials and sun then assign the renderer and your
settings then render. There are no longer those annoying error
messages and the scene should render without any problems!

Hello again,
We took a closer look at your error message.
The filename we found can be the source of the error.
d:/workspace/justin's/_columns_<M_rounf_column_:_basement_column>.rad
You find the characters < and > and : in it which are often used by
shells and have a special meaning. These values should not be in your
filename.
Reading this name, I guess it's some class name from Revit. Try not to
use this kind of object naming on import.
I've added this to my bug list. It will be fixed in the new release of
our application.
Also the ' mark in the filename could lead to problems. Please don't
use this too.
If the geometry and the octree were built with instances and you
remove the instance files, you get the same error message. Rebuilding
the geometry and the octree should solve the problem if this is the
reason.
If this information doesn't help, please let me know.
Harald
