getComments questions

Hi and happy new year all. I'm trying to re-integrate comments back into my app but have come up against a couple of issues with the 2.0 API. Firstly calls to story.getComments seem to return duplicate comments. For example if 20 comments are returned for a story, there will be 10 comments repeated twice. Digg Count of URL

Just wondering if there is a way to display multiple Digg counts by URL on a single page. I'm trying to make a manual submission tool that tracks favorite blogs by RSS and displays if they have been submitted to Digg yet. 	backend timed out
	I'd like to get the list of followers of some users. I use "fan.getAll" to get this list. But if the user's follower is too many(more than 10 thousand), even I set the argument 'count' into a small number, I still get error 408 "Request to backend timed out."
