Impossible to run

I have a new computer and tried to install PDFgui on it.
The installation is going ok but when I try to run it I have an error
message telling me to see in the pdfgui.exe.log for details and in
this file I have this error :
ImportError: MemoryLoadLibrary failed loading wx\_core_.pyd

Hi Delphine,

We have recently had several users with the same problem at the
PDF workshop at EPDIC. It seems that it affects newer versions
of Windows XP, especially if they are using regional language
settings (e.g., Russian or Serbian interface). After googling
for similar errors, I found something on the mailing list for
another program

which suggests to copy the msvcp71.dll file to the program
directory, in our case it should be "c:\Program Files\DiffPy".

Please, try to search for the dll file on your computer first.
If you cannot find it there, it should be available at

http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?msvcp71

Unfortunately, I cannot check if this works, since this bug
does not show on our computers. Please, send a reply to the
diffpy-dev list if this work-around helped.

Hi Pavol,
like you suggested I copied the .dll file to the program directory and
now PDFgui is working.
