Here is a thread to report success (or not) on installing Diaspora on
Ubuntu.
In my case, I am trying on a clean Ubuntu (ubuntu-10.10-beta-desktop-
i386) in a virtual machine (VirtualBox-3.2.8-64453-Win) so it should
be pretty standard and reproducible. I have followed the instructions,
and the procedure fails at the step "bundle install" (actually I tried
also with "sudo bundle install" because there was a permission issue).
(I have to admit I am not familiar at all with Ruby).
