Running Ubuntu 12.04 with the new cloned version from git. Everything seams to be working until I try to reach the website. I have tried from several internet browsers, including lynx from the server, every time this is the result:

"
root@queerpeace:~/diaspora# ./script/server
>> Using rack adapter
>> Thin web server (v1.3.1 codename Triple Espresso)
>> Maximum connections set to 1024
>> Listening on 0.0.0.0:3000, CTRL+C to stop

I have re-created a self signed SSL cert. In several different places and in different versions of ubuntu. Any suggestions? I'll attatch my application and script server (note my mysql password is blank- I wanted to rule that out)

application.yml
database.yml
script_server.yml

This is the response from thin when you send it https requests without a properly set up https cert.

Nothing about the https stack changed in the past weeks (months even), so something just must be funny in your configuration.

Hi did you ever get this issue resolved? I'm of the opinion that it's to do self-signed ca certificates:  https://github.com/diaspora/diaspora/wiki/SSL-problems
