This group is a place for people who travel the path of nature based religions to meet, socialize and network within the Pleasant Hill, Concord, Martinez and Walnut Creek areas of Contra Costa County in San Francisco Bay Area. Any one with an open mind and heart is welcome here.

    This group was created in the hopes of fostering Community interaction and development amongst Pagans in the Concord, Pleasant Hill, Martinez and Walnut Creek areas. I would like to provide a place for the community that is a solid and reliable resource of events, networking, and social gatherings. This definition may evolve over time, and fill needs as the community desires them. 

With that in mind, it might be easier to explain what this group is ~not~.

This group is not a coven. There will be open circles and other events posted, but many different traditions will be represented. 

This group is not Private. Posts can be read by all comers, and anyone with an open mind and courteous manner will be welcome at (most) events. For that reason, it is recommended that members refrain from posting personal information such as phone numbers and addresses.

This group is not moderated. The settings on this group are currently at "Anyone can join/New members moderated", - with the new member moderation only being in place to prevent spam/bots. Any changes to that will be announced to the group, and will be temporary in duration. 

In the same vein, members who have a disagreement with another member are encouraged to discuss it privately, and not on the message board.
