I'd like to see a now-and-then simple animation series (Flights of Fancy)

Karl,
Can you record and edit most of the make sessions?
There are other meetings too, but I think these would be most fruitful.
If you can make the time and get the posts up pretty quick, how can we help?

I don't think we need to designate anyone yet. Try out your ideas! Show us what you can do. We can merge the efforts or let them run independently later on.
The more documentation we produce, the more visibility (and potential new members) we get.

I can bring a camera with a mic. I can set it up on a tripod but it's the best for panning and such because it's a cheap one (makes noise, stick, etc..).
The composer is Kevin MacLeod. His site is http://incompetech.com/It's a horribly designed site, but an amazing resource. The navigation menu is the three columns of links at the top, next to the Google ads column. http://incompetech.com/m/c/royalty-free/index.html?genre=Silent%20Film%20ScoreDon't overlook the fun inherent in cheapo 3D. Here's a video we did showing the relative size of our solar system using a very low end Aiptek 3D solid state camcorder. The annoying wobbly LawAndOrder camera bits were done with a cheap steadicam rig that I'll bring to Thursday makenight, if I remember.
