I meet up with Dave Allen tonight, who showed me a nice space as a possible
alternative.
Before i get into details though, two things:
1. This does not mean we should ignore Bubba's work on the Menasha
location. If we could land that building, it would be awesome. I just
don't know how to do it yet, and perhaps we need an interim while we build
up to it.
2. Dave would like a list of materials and machines so he can better
classify his locations for us. Can those who are looking to use a
specific machine look up the requirements for zoning on it? I told him we
are a glorified machine shop, with lasers, and we may have many different
fumes to air out.
That being said, we need to get him the list by Sunday, so just reply to
this thread with facts and reference links, and I'll collect.

To help with the site brainstorming, I've added a "Planned
Machines/Activities in Space" List to DHMN Facility Planning board. Feel
free to add to it to suggest machines or "stations" that you think should
be included in the space, if there is room to do so.

*"**...I told him we are a glorified machine shop, with lasers, and we may have many different fumes to air out..."* * * ...then there's the training gymnasium for our robots, the extra acreage needed for Lenny's particle accelerator, retractable roof-slash-launch pad, and of course the cooling towers,... - I wish I could hang with you guys! Sincerely! - Scott A.

Everyone please put your two cents in. Lathes? Drill press? Ceramics?
What is your need? Spray paint? Glass blowing? If you plan on welding,
let us know. We want to know what's important.
And to all you data organizers, planners and analysts... Don't be afraid to
jump in and help further organize the data! Take charge! There's a new
volunteer in the group named Kristin who would love to have a precise list
to put in the pitch book!
