Hi everyone,
It's time for our Spring All-Day Meditation! Once every season, our Sangha schedules an all-day meditation retreat. Please join us this coming Sunday, May 19 if you are able. We will begin sitting at 9:30 and around 5 and you can come for all of it or any part of the day. Here is the approximate schedule:
9:00 - arrive and set up
9:30 - silence begins and 1st meditation practice
10:20 - silent break
10:30 - regular Sunday format
11:30 - silent break
11:45 - sitting meditation
12:30 - lunch
1:15 - yoga
1:45 - sitting meditation
2:30 - walking meditation
2:45 - sitting meditation
3:30 - walking meditation
3:45 - sitting meditation
4:30 - silence ends - group discussion
5 or so - clean up
This schedule is subject to change :)
Everyone is encouraged to bring a dish or some food to share at lunch. There will be tonglen instruction given and a couple of sessions of tonglen meditation interspersed throughout the day.
