Offering Transportation Dana
Update to the Previous Posting--
Dear Friends,
In update to the previous posting --
These days our monastic community is able to go for near half of our transportation needs on public transit, together with still offering opportunities for ride-sharing and ride-dana.
Thanks to those who have offered Sonoma County 20-ride transit passes, recharges on our monastic's Clipper Cards, and shared rides.
As the monastics' Clipper Cards (Bay Area Multi-system Transit Cards) have been being so well used, the next transportation dana opportunity upcoming will be for again "recharging" the Clipper Cards. If you would like to contribute to our monastics' use of local Bay Area public transit as your transportation dana on a one time or regular basis, just email back and let us know, or write "Clipper Card Recharge" in memo on your donation, and it will be added to the monastic community's Clipper Cards.
Thanks for all your support in allowing our monastic community to live clean and green.
Metta,
Your friends at the Bodhi House

Offering Transportation Dana
--
Greetings Friends,
Bay Area Public Transportation & Clipper Cards
Our Dhammadharini monastics, samaneris (novices) and bhikkhunis (fully ordained), do not have or handle money or drive. However as part of their simple and green lifestyle, whenever possible, they are happy and able to use public transportation and to use Clipper cards, which are good for buses, Bart, Muni and ferries in the San Francisco Bay area. Dhammadharini has obtained several of these cards for our monastics' use, thanks to several friends' kind donation. If you would like to support our monastics' use of public transportation in the Bay area, please email Dhammadharini to arrange to Add-fare to these cards directly, or you can simply make a donation to Dhammadharini designated for this purpose.
Local Sonoma County Bus Pass to Hermitage
For travel to and from our Aranya Bodhi Hermitage, our hermitage-dwelling and hermitage-visiting monastics would be happy to use the local Sonoma Country bus, which is not a part of but connects to the greater Bay Area transit system. 20-Ride Fast Passes are obtainable online here or at these locations on the ground. Please contact the hermitage if you would like to offer local bus passes for hermitage monastics' use.
Wishing all happy and safe travels,
with Metta
and thanks for all your support
