introducing new Board member

Dear friends,

With much delight, I am pleased to announce that Shirley Kwok has
accepted our invitation to join the Dhammadharini Board of Directors.
Shirley brings a wealth of experience and expertise in financial
planning to her position on the Board. A native of Singapore, she
came to the United States as a young college student. While in
Singapore, she served as the President of the Rotary Club. Shirley
has worked in banking in Singapore and with Chase Manhattan in the
United States. In addition, she has managed the family business in
Singapore.

Shirley has been a long time Buddhist practitioner at both the Insight
Meditation Center in Redwood City and with Shaila Catherine at the
Insight Meditation Center of the South Bay. She comes with the
highest recommendations from her teachers and from the business
community.

Dhammadharini is privileged that Shirley will be sharing her knowledge
and experience with us. Please join me in offering Shirley a warm
welcome.
