We are looking to find a Beach front rental(townhome, condo etc...) in
the Galveston area. We are planning on 1 week rental around the middle
of June. So, if anyone has recommendations, references, or just
experiences, please pass them along.
thanks...

Oh, and to satisfy the charter...
FS: Small black, three legged dog, deaf, castrated, blind in one eye.
Goes by the name of "Lucky". Make offer...

I'm sorry I can't dredge up the name of the place, but there is a time-
share townhouse facility right next to Gaidos in Galveston. I stayed
there last fall and while it wasn't sparkling fine, I would still
recommend it (right on the seawall). If worse comes to worse, I would
suggest calling Gaidos and asking them the name of the place :)

there is a condo called Seascape at the end of the seawall, Nice rooms, but
the best part is they are on the ocean side of the road, so no having to
deal with the traffic to get to the beach.
http://www.galveston.com/seascape/
also do a search on rental properties in galveston, you will find a ton.

We have rented beach houses in or near Galveston for years. You'll
find lots of available properties down there...and all at very
reasonable prices. One company I'd recommend is Bay Reef Realty -
visit http://www.bayreef.com/ and click on Resort Rentals (on the left
side of their webpage. They have houses of all sizes & prices.

My aunt owns a condo in Seascape. They are really nice, I've stayed there 4
or 5 times. Feel free to email for her info, she may give a discount over
regular price.
