I know you'll get a number of responses specific to your question, but
nearby, in Richardson, there are two that I would recommend. One if
Cappucino's on the northeast corner of Coit and Campbell in the same
center as the Tom Thumb, It is at the east end of the complex, but it
is visible from Coit.

The second is Cafe Amore in the Promenade shopping center on Coit
between Arapaho and Beltline. It is a very popular place. Not as
elegant as Cappucino, and priced a couple of dollars less.

There is one at the Shops at Legacy. Sure it's a trendy area, but the
last time I dined there the food was good. Name slipped my mine at
the moment, but it's the only one there, just North of the theater.

It's called Nicola's. http://www.nicolaslegacy.com/

We've been there several times and it has become our
favorite; better than Patrizio, which is still very good

Compari's on Plano Pkwy is the best I have found.
Food is really good, service is good and prices moderate.
(621 W Plano Pkwy - (972) 423-1234

Tried Paesano's on Hwy 75 service road (S. of 15th st)
and got sick. Tried again.... food again not good.
Will not go back.

Olive Gdn.... near Plano Pkwy and Hwy 75 - is Olive Garden. OK

Personally - My wife and I have been really impressed with Carrabbas
just North of the Parker Road exit on the east side of Hwy 75 (Central
Expressway). Good Food and Great service and I do not really care for
Italian. It may be a bit pricey...
YMMV
