DFW SEC Mixer
===============
Time for the monthly DFW SEC Mixer! Each school hosts a different month of the year, and this month is Mississippi State! The Mixers start at 6:00pm, and last as long as people want to stay.
The #1 reason we hear for not attending is, "I don't want to go alone." If it helps, about 80% of us show up "alone". But we have gotten to know people that attend every month, and made many lasting friendships within the group. In fact, many of us hang out outside of these Mixers now too, and a kick-ball team has even formed from SEC peeps.
So come out and join us, and mix, mingle, and network with some fellow SEC fans.

Good Sportsmanship
===============
This last weekend at Tennessee's watch party location, 3rd Base in Frisco, there was an altercation between the "home" TN fans and a "visiting" LSU fan. With the emotions of the last few seconds of the game, the situation got heated and out of control.
Every club is welcoming to visiting fans at their watch parties. In many ways we even encourage it if you don't have a watch party for your team that is nearby. But with that comes the responsibility to uphold good sportsmanship, and dare I say, SEC Sportsmanship.
Each club and fan represents not only themselves, but also their team and even the SEC. Good-natured ribbing is fun and can be enjoyed by most, but it should never get so far out of hand that it can lead to violence. We should be an example to the Dallas area on what "sportsmanship" is all about, and not a detriment to local establishments.

Spread the Word
===============
Take a minute or two and invite all your DFW SEC friends to the Facebook group so we can get the word out! Every day we meet new people that have never heard about us. We should have several thousand members by now, but we're still under 500. Let's set a collective goal for 1,000 members by 2011!
