Health International (FHI) is dedicated to improving lives, knowledge, and understanding
worldwide through a highly diversified program of research, education, and
services in HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment, reproductive health, and
infectious diseases. We are seeking qualified candidates for the following
position based in Katmandu, Nepal:
Country Director, Nepal (Req. ID 1187)
Description:
The Country Director provides leadership to and oversight of the management of FHI’s country program in Nepal. S/He is responsible for overseeing all functions of the country including program, technical, finance, contacts and grants and human resources and for ensure strong collaboration between FHI and its stakeholders.
Requirements:
BS/BA in public health or related field, and 11-13 years relevant experience in international development programs with 5-7 years supervisory experience; or MS/MA/MPH in public health or related field, and 9 - 11 years relevant experience in international development programs, with 5-7 years supervisory experience; or PhD, MD or equivalent degree with 7 - 9 years relevant experience in HIV/AIDS or family planning with international development programs and 5-7 years of supervisory experience. Overseas field experience required.
