Advertisement for the DFID’s RHFA in Nepal Family Planning Association of Nepal (FPAN) with the broad aims of promoting sexual and reproductive health, and advocating the right of individuals to make their own choices in family planning, seeks qualified candidates for the following positions. Positions are contingent upon project award and funding. Please specify which position you are applying for in your response. Operations Director: The Operations Director (OD) will ensure that maternal and neonatal health (MNH) service delivery channels are clearly defined and segmented under a total market approach and that robust referral networks form part of the project’s total market strategy. The OD will ensure that supported service channels have well defined supply chains and that these are monitored on a continuous basis. S/he will ensure that service providers supported by the project are adequately trained, equipped and motivated to provide high quality services. The OD will develop service demand generation and equity strategies so that identified marginalised groups are aware of and able to access services. Qualifications: Advanced degree clinical or public health degree plus at least 8 years managing MNH or related projects; familiarity with relevant country MNH policies and strategies and stakeholders.Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in the health settings of Nepal and other resource-limited countries. Fluency in English and Nepalese is required.
2. Gender and Social Inclusion (GESI) Advisor: The GESI Advisor will have the overall responsibility for supporting and coordinating capacity enhancement. Key areas of focus are the organizational governance (internal systems, policies and function); including making sure those GESI policies are developed and implemented. The GESI Advisor will support in developing GESI strategies at all levels of the organization. Attention will be on enhancing the technical capacity to implement plans and introducing best practice tools and methods for social mobilization, analysis, monitoring, support and follow up.
Qualifications: Masters degree in Women’s Studies/Development Studies/Sociology having a minimum of seven years of intensive work experience in GESI related activities, in depth understanding of sexual and reproductive health issues, good report writing and computer skills.
3. Medical Director : The Medical Director is responsible to guide and manage all clinical programs under FPAN network, supervise FPAN's clinical programs and ensure quality of care at all levels, conduct need assessment of clinical training to FPAN doctors and paramedics, develop/update training modules for clinical staff and implement the training close coordination with other Division and Section, develop project proposal and narrative progress report as required by the donors, develop/update policy, guidelines and M&E checklist for FPAN's clinical programs, provide CAC,PAC, Vasectomy and Minilap services in the central Clinic. Qualification & Experience The candidate should be MGDP or gynecologist degree from recognized university and five years work experience in health related program/project management at managerial post or MBSS degree with at least 7 years work experience in health related program/project management.
1. Grant Manager: Under the direct supervision of the Team Leader and the advisory support of the Finance Director-FPAN, the Grants Manager will oversees the implementation of the project grant to ensure financial and program delivery is on target through the grant life-cycle from signature to close-out. S/he supports the Operational Director in establishing and maintaining effective coordination and relationships with the government bodies and other key partners and provides programmatic and financial support and capacity building to implementing local partners and branches. Qualifications: Postgraduate degree in business administration and/or Certified Chartered Accountant. At least 7 years of progressive financial and administrative management experience ideally in a NGO. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in the health settings of interest. Fluency in English is required.

Medical Manager: The Medical manger is responsible to Medical Director and manage all clinical programs under FPAN network, supervise FPAN's clinical programs and ensure quality of care at all levels, conduct need assessment of clinical training to FPAN doctors and paramedics, develop/update training modules for clinical staff, develop/update policy, guidelines and M&E checklist for FPAN's clinical programs. Qualifications: The applicant should be MGDP or MD in Ob/Gynaecology degree from recognised university and 3 years of work experience in health related program /project management at managerial post or MBBS degree with at least 5 years of work experience in health related program/project management. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in the sexual and reproductive health settings, training and quality of care; supervision and monitoring. Fluency in English is required
3. Regional M&E officer: under the direct supervision of the M&E Manager, Regional M&E Officer will provide technical assistance to branches, ensure quality of work by doing on-site data verification, collect and compile monthly and periodic reports from the project sites, ensures sufficient logistic supplies at the field levels; coordinate and facilitate monitoring and supervision of all responses required from his/her level of the project. Sound knowledge in program supervision and monitoring is essential. Willing to travel in the field. Qualifications: Masters in public Health, Population, Sociology, Social work or any other equivalent Social Science degree with at least 5 years of work experience.
