For starters let me say thanks for this great application!!!
I have just used DeVeDe, for the first time, to author a video DVD
consisting of three titles, one avi per title, one srt per avi
(subtitle)

cache rendered files

hi, this is a feature request. it would be nice if devede saves rendered files somewhere to avoid reencoding each time. I usually make little variations of one saved project and it's a little bit frustrating to be waiting for enconding everytime. I was testing dvdstyler and it uses $HOME/.cache to store this kind of... more »

It goes to 90% and stays there

I add a file, then do the preview, then press OK, then it goes
straight away to 90% and stays there, unless I press to ADJUST DISC
USAGE, then it goes to 99% and stays there, even for an hour or more.
What is happening ? Or have I not got all the packages to make it work
properly ?

I'm pleased to announce a new official version of Devede, 3.22.0, which
adds all the things currently available in the GIT repository.
As usual, you can download it from the official page, in tar.bz2 or .deb
format.

Hi,
First of all, thanks for the great job!
I wish devede could have the option to choose a custom target file size
and/or target media size on the popup menu that currently presents the
various disk sizes available. That would be very useful to properly fill
pen-drives of different capabilities.... more »

Hi all:
To be able to add all my projects to GITHUB, I renamed my account. So
now, the Devede repository is at
github.com/rastersoft/Devede
This means that you must edit your .git/config file and modify the URI
(or delete it and download it again, of course).

First of all I want to thank the developer(s) for the great application.
I was using 3.17 on Ubuntu 11.11 without any problems
and now that I updated both Devede and Ubuntu

mkv subtitle support

Hi, I am trying to use DeVeDe to burn a mkv file to DVD. The mkv file
has English subtitles within it, but I can't find any options in
DeVeDe to encode them into the video. I don't care if it's hard-coded
or not, but I do need the subtitles. I tried adding the mkv file as a
subtitle file but that didn't work. Also, if possible, I would like... more »
