Hi everyone in the group, I just signed up.
First of all I want to thank the developer(s) for the great application.
I was using 3.17 on Ubuntu 11.11 without any problems
and now that I updated both Devede and Ubuntu
I started having errors.
First it was the menu issue, which I evaded just selecting jump to first tittle on the menu settings.
Now Im getting a very strange error when I try to run it with an MKV or AVI file,
here is the strange part, while FFMPEG is selected it gives me an error
that says "Conversion Failed: It looks like a mencoder bug"
Since mencoder is not in use I assume it cannot be a mencoder bug.
When I deselect FFMPEG, thus using mencoder, the error while using an AVI file does not show,
and the video does not stutter for me as other members have reported.
Now, when using an MKV file it doesnt work even when selecting to use mencoder,
in that case it gives an error "conversion failed: it seems you run out of space"
and when selecting FFMPEG the previous error of "Conversion Failed: It looks like a mencoder bug"
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
Javier
