hi,

this is a feature request.

it would be nice if devede saves rendered files somewhere to avoid reencoding each time.

I usually make little variations of one saved project and it's a little bit frustrating to be waiting for enconding everytime.

I was testing dvdstyler and it uses $HOME/.cache to store this kind of files.

regards,

I would suggest that if this is implemented, it be a visible checkbox near the options to create ISO image, etc, and that the default be that it is unchecked. Also, the ability to change target directory in Preferences (or near the checkbox, though in Preferences would make it neater or less cluttered) would be good. There is nothing worse (for most of us) than programs that leave large temp files behind. A few years back, using "Copy to Disc" when right-clicking a mounted disc on the Ubuntu desktop left 4Gb+ images behind for every one copied, until you rebooted or went into /tmp to manually delete them, and it drove me nuts, hehe. If done like this, I agree it would be a great feature.
