  I actually think I just figured out what was happening. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;I just need to modify &amp;amp;$sql and &amp;amp;$count to $sql and $count. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Now I am able to log in and it doesn&#39;t give me any errors! Great &lt;br&gt; script and thanks again for all your help!

  If you&#39;re on windows and you run IIS, the directory will be there &lt;br&gt; already. I use the inetpub path in the example because most people &lt;br&gt; who run windows will deploy IIS. You can run whatever web server you &lt;br&gt; want of course. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;The path you use on windows will likely be different. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;This is how ratedsite.com is setup:

  Alright... the light is slowly turning on. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;I created the folder on my C drive and uploaded the lib contents so &lt;br&gt; now... &lt;br&gt; C:\\inetpub\\lib is an actual path... but since I had to create the &lt;br&gt; inetpub directory something tells me I&#39;m still not on the right &lt;br&gt; route. I update the configure file to match $GLOBALS[ &#39;LIB_PATH&#39; ] =

  /lib is a system folder. That&#39;s not it. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;The lib directory you provide for this script shouldn&#39;t be in your web &lt;br&gt; root at all.   mangybeast.com/rate/lib does exist &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;I have /lib set so that applications can write to it, but have it so &lt;br&gt; that the contents are not visible to others.
